Caracas_ The Venezuelan president Nicolás Maduro assured that the right in his country didn't want to activate the revocation referendum in January, when they have the opportunity to make the petition, Radio Reloj publishes.

"A thing is to summon a referendum in a legal way and another thing is to make a fraud to bring violence through the whole country", Maduro said.

The president explained that the division among the lines of the opposition prevented to reach an agreement on the application of the referendum and they don’t present the application until last April to the National Electoral Council (CNE).

Immediately the CNE began the process and established 30 days to gather one percent of the signatures, the Venezuelan leader said and added "If the opposition will legally able to pick up the signatures, next year we would go to elections and we would win."
