Davos_ Social inequality is dramatically increasing around the world. The 62 richest persons worldwide have exactly the same as the poorest half of the population, Granma newspaper publishes.

According to a study carried out by Oxfam organization to be presented in the World Economic Forum, that patrimony was in the hands of the 80 richest persons of the world

“The insufficient taxes applied to the big capitals and their benefits as well as the continuous transference of profits to the tax haven are among the causes which provoke the concentration of the wealth distribution, the investigation emphasizes.

The document calls politicians, executives and scientists to use their influence to achieve the reduction of the difference between the rich and the poor.

“The politicians’ responsibility is to end with the tax haven, where the rich hide their great capitals”, Oxfam concluded.
