Rome_ For the second time, after the victory of Brexit in Great Britain, the leaders of Italy, France and Germany met last Monday in an Italian island to discuss an agenda that includes the concerns after the British exit from the block, which will delay as minimum two years.

In this new situation Italy becomes the third economy of the European Union. The trio left clear that they want to give a "new impulse" to the European integration, but there is a great distance from the desires to the real facts.

In the table of discussion they shared topics as those related with the defense, the security, the migration, and the unemployment in Europe. In that sense, the German chancellor, Angela Merkel, called to "improve" the exchange of information among the secret services of the countries members, although she didn't explain who threatens the peace of the European block.

Merkel also said to the press that the quantity of refugees that arrive to Europe, forces to strengthen the mechanisms of protection of the borders; As a habit she went to the causes of the problem, but not to the consequences. In a forgetfulness of the measures of austerity pronounced in the last half a decade and what they have brought about, she referred to a future decrease of the unemployment and the desired economic prosperity.

As Federica Mogherini, head of the European diplomacy, recognized, the purpose and the survival of the European Union are being questioned as never before. This crisis of identity motivated the mentioned encounter of Germany, Italy and France this Monday, only three weeks before an extraordinary European Summit announced for next September 16 in Eslovaquia, the first summoned after Brexit.

Meanwhile, the German chancellor is carrying out this week a vertiginous tour through some countries members of the European Union, which will conclude this Saturday in Berlin, with the presence of authorities from Slovenia, Bulgaria, Croatia and Austria.
