Madrid_ The Spanish Left United party celebrated the agreement of peace, closed this week between the Colombian government and the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia-People’s Army (FARC-EP), to put an end to the armed conflict in that South American country, Radio Reloj publishes.

The partisan organization considered that the pact among Juan Manuel Santos’ Executive and FARC-EP is indispensable to put an end to the violations of human rights and the violence that the Colombian society is suffering today.

The left coalition valued that the effective execution of the historical agreement will suppose the guarantee the right to the truth, the justice and the repair with non-repetition guarantees.

The announcement represents a serious advance to put an end to the paramilitary system and the systematic attacks kept on the defenders of human rights and members of political and social movements.
