Uzbekistan_ The president of Uzbekistan, Islam Karimov, died on Monday as a consequence of a brain haemorrhage, his relatives informed.

According to Radio Reloj one of the daughters of the first leader, Lola Karimova Tilliayeva, informed about his father’s state of health in her Facebook account, with the objective of avoiding miss understandings.

Karímov was in the presidency for 27 years, since he became the maximum leader of the country in 1989 and from then on, its Government is associated to presidential long terms.
