City of México_ Mexico celebrates this Friday the national parties for the 206 anniversary of the beginning of the Independence, with the military traditional parade, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.
The Cry of Dolores was recalled as traditional in the night of September 15, in the National Palace, at the Zocalo square.
Every year, the president of the nation is the one in charge of pealing Dolores's bell, brought in 1896, to acclaim Miguel Hidalgo, José MarÃa Morelos and Josefa Ortiz, among others, to wave the flag and give a Long Live to Mexico!, when concluding.
The Cry of Dolores is considered the act of beginning of the war of Independence of Mexico.
According with the tradition, it consisted on the priest Miguel Hidalgo and Costilla’s call, along with Ignacio Allende and Juan Aldama, to their parishioners to begin the rebellion against the viceroyalty authority of New Spain.
Today's act will be headed by Enrique Peña Nieto, amid teachers' protests and manifestations that demand his renouncement.
Professors of the 22 section of the National Coordinator of the Workers of the Education (CNTE) tried to enter by force to the square to celebrate a political act in front of the Government's Palace; however, state agents stopped them on Guerrero street.
The army members threw tear gas to discourage the demonstrators, who answered with cohetones and stones.
Dozens of families present at Zocalo Square to witness the Cry of Independence came out escaping.
They also report a confrontation in the Municipal Palace of Tapachula in Chiapas, between the state police and the family parents and teachers when these last ones were carrying out a march toward the Central park.
These actions are part of the protests of the Mexican teachers against the educational reformation.
