Madrid_ The leader of the Socialist Party of Catalonia (PSC), Miguel Iceta, asked the nationalist groupings of that Spanish region to stop their secessionist aspirations if they want to avoid other four years in power of the conservative Mariano Rajoy, Radio Havana Cuba publishes.
Iceta noticed that if Catalonian Democratic Party (PDC) wants to expel Rajoy of the government of Moncloa Palace, it is forced to abandon the idea of celebrating a self-determination referendum in that autonomous community.
That way, it could facilitate the investiture of the general secretary of the Spanish Socialist Workers’ Party (PSOE), Pedro Sanchez, as President of the Government, the leader affirmed.
The first secretary of PSC – pair of PSOE in Catalonia of PSOE - ratified that the socialists followers will never support a soberanista consultation, condition imposed by PDC to think about the back of their eight deputies in the Parliament to an alternative ruler to Rajoy.
