Geneva_ The World Health Organization (WHO) announced today in Geneva the six candidates to succeed Margaret Chan, its Director General; the 194 states members of the Organization have the opportunity to give their proposals, Radio Reloj publishes.

A forum for the candidates to discuss their vision to the States Members of the Organization and answer questions will be held on November 1 and 2.

The forum will be broadcasted in Arabic, Chinese, Spanish, French, English and Russian on the website of the Organization.

The Executive Board of the World Health Assembly is made up of 34 members, elected for three years, and among its main functions are to determine the policies of the Organization, appoint the Director General and supervise financial standards.
