Panamá_ Former president of Uruguay José Mujica assured that the abstention in Colombia prevents to know the popular criteria on the Peace Agreements, Prensa Latina publishes.
“In fact it is unknown how people think, because the 62 percent of the population didn't vote”, he expressed while assuring to be hopeful with a pact that will bring harmony to the country.
"Because the wars end in two forms: in a military way, where one of the litigants is imposed, or by a negotiation of political character. “There is no other way", he sentenced.
Answering a question about Panama, the veteran politician advised: “Don't forget the social differences and assist your poor people. Fight for a more equal distribution."
It can be a great country, because it has everything to be great, it only needs to fight against the short term selfishness", he said.
He highlighted the profitable of the Inter Oceanic Channel and of the International Airport of Tocumen, managed smartly, starting from the privileged corner, in reference to the geographical position of the Isthmus.
