Rio de Janeiro_ Trade union centrals and popular movements in Brazil called for new actions against the neoliberal agenda of the unelected president Michel Temer, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

The national coordinator of the Landless Workers Movement (MTST), Guilherme Boulos, stressed that the manifestations carried out the previous Friday were only the beginning of the pressure that the workers will make against the illegitimate government.

The coming 20th it is scheduled the 13th March of the Black Consciousness, which for Brazilians is not a holiday, but a day of struggle and mobilization.

The organizers of the March highlight in a note their concern with the "growing conservative wave in Brazil, of racist, misogynist, classist and fascist content, with a strong impact in Sao Paulo" and notes that the coup government of Temer tries to implement a neoliberal program , contrary to democracy and the recent conquests of the working class and the black population.

"With the Proposal for Constitutional Amendment (PEC) that freezes wages and imposes a welfare reform, we will return to the time of slavery", the National Coordinator of Black Entities, Sandra Mariano, said.
