Quito__ Evo Morales, President of Bolivia, urged this Wednesday, the participating countries of the Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean States (CELAC by its Spanish initials), to strengthen their unity against the attacks of the empire, Radio Reloj publishes.

"Our wish is to consolidate CELAC as the integrator of the sovereign countries, free of any imperial domination, and capable of ensuring peace and social justice", said Morales to the heads of state and government.

Also Juan Manuel Santos, President of Colombia, addressed attendees at the continental, and highlighted the role of the block in the peace talks being conducted by his government with the Revolutionary Armed Forces People's Army of Colombia, taking place in Cuba.

Santos reiterated that Latin America and the Caribbean is and will be a zone of peace, as the second Summit of the platform, which took place in Havana, declared.
