Quito_ Venezuela will receive the pro tempore presidency of Union of South American Nations, (Unasur by itsd Spanish initials), from the hands of Uruguay, next April. A statement from the Foreign Ministry revealed that in its year of management a priority will be the economic agenda, Radio Reloj publishes.
Delcy RodrÃguez, Minister of Foreign Affairs, when leading Unasur, Venezuela has the challenge of working together to strengthen the economic and financial potential of the region facing a global crisis and the low of the oil prices.
On the recently concluded meeting of the foreign ministers of Unasur in Quito, Rodriguez underlines issues such as the peace treaty in Colombia, the fight against drug trafficking and climate change, among others.
"That meeting showed the atmosphere of brotherhood and coincidence that reigns in the Union of South American Nations," the chancellor added.
