Havana_ A technical meeting of Cuban and US experts on fighting human trafficking and migration fraud concluded in Miami, Florida.
The meeting that was held in a respectful, professional atmosphere, aimed the discussions at increasing bilateral cooperation in this area, according to the Cubaminrex website.
The parties agreed on the importance to advance in the cooperation to confront this scourge and the need to sign bilateral instruments to make official the exchanges in this area to neutralize human traffickers more effectively.
The Cuban delegation was led by Col. Mario Mendez Mayedo, Head of the Department of Identification and Immigration of the Interior Ministry (Minint), and included other representatives of Minint and of the Foreign Ministry.
