Panama_ The Panamanian government agreed with the Mexican the direct transfer of the almost thousand Cubans that stay in its territory since last December waiting the possibility to continue their trip to the United States, Juventud Rebelde’s website published.

According to Monica de León, Director of Public Relations of the Panamanian Foreign ministry, all the logistic details are kept in secret and the Cubans will have to pay themselves all the costs.

Panama announced the agreement with Mexico hours after Costa Rica had informed this same Friday, they will begin to move Cuban groups in direct flights to Mexico.

The Panamanian diplomacy told that the presidents Juan Carlos Valera and Enrique Peña Nieto, met last January 27 in occasion of the Summit of the Community of Latin American and Caribbean Countries, recently held in Quito, Ecuador.

It was also ratified the commitment of collaborating with the countries of the region to pay attention in an integral way to the migratory issue and look for joined solutions.
