Maryland _ A federal judge in Maryland has temporarily blocked the new immigration veto of US President Donald Trump, hours after another judge in Hawaii did the same before its entry into force, Radio Havana Cuba reports.
The Maryland ruling was announced by Judge Theodore D. Chuang and it is focused in one part of Trump's immigration veto, the suspension of visa issuance for citizens of six Muslim-majority countries (Iran, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Yemen and Libya).
Chuang stressed that this veto supposes the implementation of the long-anticipated ban on Muslims and justified his decision on the comments made by Trump during his election campaign.
