Cape City_ The African National Congress in Western Cape City ia commemorating the 26th anniversary of the release of passed South African leader, Nelson Mandela, Radio Reloj publishes.

Yonela Diko, Party’s spokewoman, said that the event this year coincides with the speech on the State Nation pronounced by President Jacob Zuma at the Parliament.

Mandela, first negro president of South Africa, left jail on February11th, 1990, after having passed 27 years imprisoned because the apartheid regime.

“It is a symbolic day, a very important one. Mandela’s release from prison was a transforming event for all of us”, underlined Diko to the media.
