Colombia_ Presided over by Colombian Foreign Minister Ángela María Holguín, the ministerial segment of the XII Summit of the Pacific began today in this city, attended by Foreign Affairs and Trade ministers of member countries, Radio Habana Cuba reports.

After the morning session, which takes place behind closed doors, the ministers of the Alliance (Chile, Mexico, Peru and Colombia) will share with their colleagues here and from other parts of the world, who attend the Summit as observers.

The organizers of the meeting indicated that the meeting will deal in two segments with the facilities of trade and its insertion in international markets and the movement of capital and investment opportunities.

In the deliberations of the joint meeting they will also address the perception and vision of the observer States on the Alliance of the Pacific.

The summit concludes Friday with the meeting at the highest level between the president of Mexico, Enrique Peña Nieto; of Chile, Michelle Bachelet; of Peru, Pablo Kuczynski and of Colombia, Juan Manuel Santos.

At the end of that presidential session will be announced the Declaration of Cali, on the agreements of the Summit and the future prospects in the exchange of that quartet of nations.
