Bolivia_ Bolivia and Chile began today contacts to reactivate the dialogue on border issues and concrete a meeting of the bilateral committee of both countries, Radio Habana Cuba reports.

President Evo Morales urged authorities in the neighboring nation to create a permanent working commission to promote strategies to resolve border incidents.

The Chancellery of the southern nation sent a diplomatic note to the Plurinational Government, in which it requests to set date, time and agenda items for the meeting of the Border Committee of the two regions.

The purpose of the meeting is to move towards a common agenda, so they intend to openly discuss these detrimental issues to the economy of both countries, always respecting the cooperation agreements in customs and police, approved by the legislative chambers of the two countries.
