Syria_  Tensions between Ankara and Washington were severely hit after the Turkish semi-state agency Anadolu revealed, the location of US secret bases in northern Syria. 

This news service published an extensive report that showed the exact location of ten military bases established in the Kurdish cantons of the Arab country that are under the control of the Democratic Union Party.

The document provided maps and the number of troops deployed in each of them and their equipment, besides along with foreign soldiers, Americans and French, there were also planning officials and advisers working to combat the Islamic State.

The information, released in Turkish and English, was reproduced a day later by the American media The Daily Beast, which triggered the Pentagon's ire.
