Berlin_ The European Central Bank today urged Eurozone governments to increase spending on health, education and infrastructure, Prensa Latina reports.

This is due to the demonstration that this type of spending has positive long-term effects on growth.

After years of limited or waning government budgets, the ECB recommended channeling spending into growth-enhancing categories such as those mentioned.
