Quito_ Ecuadorian President Lenin Moreno confirmed the call for a popular consultation in his country and announced that on October 2nd he will officially present its content, calling the people to send questions on issues of interest to contribute to the reforms which will strengthen democracy, Radio Reloj publishes.  

The president welcomed the opening of healthy dialogue about the questions and thanked the support received before the announcement, which according to experts, the content to be consulted would solve several doubts regarding the political scenario of that nation.

This exercise is one of the demands of the opposition in its attempt to influence the policies established by former Ecuadorian President Rafael Correa.

Correistas politicians of Alianza País expressed that they hope that this consultation does not respond to a thematic that forms part of the agenda of the right in Ecuador.
