Los Angeles_  A shooting that killed at least 50 people caused panic in the US city of Las Vegas, where police officers shot down a suspect on Monday night, Radio Havana Cuba reports. 

"We are confirming that a suspect has been shot down, This investigation goes on" Las Vegas police said on its Twitter account after medical sources reported that at least 200 people were injured in the shooting at a country music festival in near the Mandalay Bay Casino hotel.

At the moment the police do not believe the existence of another suspect of the event, but observers estimate that it is impossible that a single person can kill and hurt 250 people.

Two dead were first reported after the shooting, in which someone shot several times from a balcony of the Mandalay Bay Casino towards the people who enjoyed a concert of the country festival.

Dozens of police vehicles took the central boulevard after receiving reports from an active shooter near the Route 91 Harvest Festival and immediately asked the population to avoid going to the area.

Las Vegas main street is cut by the Police, as well as the Highway 15. Likewise, McCarran Airport suspended flights.
