Panama_ Some 150 renowned scientists from America, Europe and Asia will meet in this city from October 16 to 19, as part of the 25th Congress of Naval, Maritime and Port Engineering, Prensa Latina reports.Â
The capital’s  Megapolis Convention Center will host this event, which aims to update participants on the latest technological and scientific developments in these areas and present their vision on the future of world maritime trade.
With a tradition of more than 50 years, the Pan American Institute of Naval, Maritime and Port Engineers, made up of more than 20 countries, chose Panama for the first time as a meeting point for this event, the most important of the institution every two years.
Specialist from Japan, China, Singapore, Belgium, Spain, Germany, Brazil, Argentina, Uruguay, Chile, Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia, Paraguay, Venezuela, Colombia, Mexico, the United States and Cuba will meet at one of the most important engineering congresses in the region.
