Mexico_ The book Fidel Castro Ruz Guerrillero del Tiempo, conversaciones con el lider historico de la Revolucion Cubana, was presented in the context of the XX International Seminar “The Parties and a New Society”, Granma newspaper publishes.
Alpidio Alonso, poet and official of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba, was responsible for the presentation of the volume, written by journalist and writer Katiuska Blanco.
Alonso stressed the importance of presenting the volume at this event, which is closed to the upcoming celebration of the 90th’s birthday of Fidel.
"It was Mexico, the only country which remained firm and did not gave in or broke relations with Cuba and thus saved the honor of the countries on the continent," he said.
"The reprinting of this volume is thanks to the contribution of the Workers' Party of Mexico and we’ll never appreciate enough what the Mexicans do for Cuba" emphasized the official.
Alonso explained that shows episodes of Fidel familiar surroundings, the natural environment where he spent his childhood, the relationship with his sisters and brothers, especially with Raul, and it also dedicates a chapter to Mexico.
During the final day of the event, Rodrigo Cabezas, vice president of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela (PSUV), evaluated as positive the balance, and highlighted the creative debates, base of new battles.
Cabezas was responsible for the closing of the seminar, organized by the Labor Party (PT) of Mexico, with the attendance of about 40 countries from March 10th to 12th, and representatives of more than a hundred political and social organizations.
