Bolivia_ The Bolivian government projects today a public investment of about seven thousand 500 million dollars by 2018, almost the same amount approved this year, informed the Minister of Development Planning, Mariana Prado, Prensa Latina reports.

The authorities are checking the latest details of the General State Budget for the 2018 administration, in which the projections of growth, inflation and other economic variables are mentioned, the minister said.

According to data from the 2017 budget, an investment of 6,189 million dollars was programmed and public companies committed 1,317 million dollars, which amounts to 7,506 million dollars, Prado explained.

The minister explained that the Community Economic and Community Productive Model, in force since 2006, values public investment and the domestic market as the main sectors that generate the highest level of economic growth.
