Beijing_  China will implement in 2018 new rules to ensure quality, good service and greater protection of the rights of customers in the tourist routes, Prensa Latina publishes.

The National Tourism Administration will enforce from January 1, a series of measures against inappropriate behaviors such as forcing users to make purchases in certain places, pay extra sums or provide access to illegal activities.

The new provisions prohibit and establish sanctions against verbal abuse, intimidation or abandonment of tourists.

Guides who incur those faults will have their work license revoked, confiscate money from dishonest practices and apply fines of 300 to three thousand dollars.

According to the Administration, with these measures they seek that the so-called leisure industry in China maintain a healthy development.

The Asian nation is the fourth most visited destination in the world and receives an average of more than 55 million foreigners annually. In addition, it is the largest issuer of tourists worldwide.
