United Nations_ Cuba's President Miguel Diaz-Canel ended his busy agenda in this populous city and flew back home after days at the United Nations and meetings with personalities of the United States.
The head of state took part in the high-level segment of the 73rd General Assembly of the United Nations, where he denounced the US blockade against Cuba and criticized the lack of political will of the industrialized countries to eradicate poverty and hunger.
He also addressed the Nelson Mandela Peace Summit and participated in a high level meeting on nuclear disarmament.
Diaz-Canel also held meetings with world leaders, US politicians and business people, Cuban emigrees and American friends of Cuba.
