Santiago de Chile_ The deputies and leaders of the Chilean Frente amplio, Gabriel Boric and Giorgio Jackson, announced that they will vote for the presidential candidate of New Majority, Alejandro Guillier, in the second round of the elections next Sunday, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

Both used the social networks to spread, with a few minutes of difference, the communications with which they reported that they will support Guillier. They also agreed on the need to support him to prevent Sebastián Piñera from governing with José Antonio Kast, the extreme right-wing candidate, from La Moneda.

"A triumph of the political right would be a setback in several social matters, since it would affect the material life conditions of thousands Chileans who would be seriously affected in their dignity as persons," Boric argued.

In the case of Jackson, although he considered the positions of Guillier ambiguous, confused and sometimes contradictory, he hopes that such errors and lack of definition will not cost him the choice.

Last week, former presidential candidate Beatriz Sánchez announced that she would back Guillier, who tries to accumulate as much support as possible from the Chilean left.

This Thursday the campaign of the candidate of the New Majority will close and former president José Pepe Mujica, who enjoys high popularity in the southern country, will be present in the act.
