Moscow-The Russian prosecutor's office today took over the investigation of the accident of a  Boeing 737 operated by Emirati airline Fly Dubai with 62 people on board at the airport of Rostov on Don, Southern District, Prensa Latina’s digital site publishes.

Sources from the Emergency Situations Regional Ministry confirmed the death of 55 passengers and seven crew when the pilots attempted landing at the terminal of Rostov.

At the moment, Russian investigators handled as versions of the catastrophe, the weather disturbances, human error and technical failure.

The Prosecutor’s Office began on Saturday to check the techniques of flight security at the airport of Rostov.

The incident took place at dawn when the Boeing 737 have been trying to for more than two hours after making the second round.

According to Russian press agencies, the emergency services explained that the ship flew over the airport about 40-50 minutes until the commander decided to land.

The plane broke into pieces on the impact to the ground, on the runway.

During the night the territory was stroke by strong winds of hurricane scale, with gusts of 70 mph, which could influence the landing, said the governor of Rostov, Vasili Golubiov.

44 citizens of Russia, eight in Ukraine, two from India and one from Uzbekistan are registered among the passengers.

It was reported that two black boxes of the ship were found, while the search for the flight logs continues.
