United Nations_ The United Nations General Assembly voted today on a draft resolution on Jerusalem submitted by Egypt to the Security Council, against the US measure of recognizing Jerusalem as Israel's capital, Prensa Latina reports.

In an extraordinary session of the United Nations' largest body, many of the member states expressed their rejection of the unilateral decision of the United States and advocated a two-State solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.

Before ending the voting process, US Ambassador Nikki Haley threatened to cut off funding to the United Nations, its agencies and the countries that condemned Trump's decision on Jerusalem.

After the United States veto, the Security Council remains paralyzed on this issue, denouncing and condemning the actions of Israel, which is expanding more and more in the Palestinian territories occupied by force.
