Moscow_ Russian President Vladimir Putin called today as terrorist act the explosion occurred in a store of the  Perekriostak chain, in the northern city of St. Petersburg, with the balance of 13 injured, six of them hospitalized, Prensa Latina reports.  

"You know that yesterday a terrorist attack was perpetrated in St. Petersburg," Putin said at the start of a meeting with participants in operations against extremist formations in Syria.

According to the Investigation Committee of Russia (SKR), the dynamite device had a power equivalent to 200 grams of TNT and additional elements to cause greater damage.

Among the injured, no children or teenagers were reported, the police said.

The homemade bomb was placed in the box office of the aforementioned facility, located on Kondratiev Avenue, in the center of the so-called Russian northern capital.

The commerce in the first floor was closed and half a hundred of clients and store clerks of that center were evacuated, the capital television indicated.

The SKR experts opened a court case for the article about the attack on the lives of two or more people.
