Moscow_ The Central Electoral Commission of Russia authorized the president, Vladimir Putin, to begin the proselytizing campaign and the collection of 300 thousand signatures as an independent candidate, ahead of next March's elections, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.

The entity registered Pútin’s support group and allowed it to open accounts to finance the electoral campaign.

Yesterday, the Russian president presented the documents to participate in the suffrage of 2018, where he will seek re-election for six years.

The statesman is presented as an independent candidate, but has the unconditional support of the ruling United Russia party and the All-Russian Patriotic Front.
