Sancti Spíritus, Cuba_ A bean profit line began to operate in the new industry that was built last year in Iguará town, belonging to the municipality of Yaguajay, with which Sancti Spíritus enters a new stage in the production of grains, the digital site of Radio Reloj reports.
According to information published in Escambray newspaper, the plant will receive around half of the bean crop of that province in central Cuba, with the consequent impact on the treatment and final quality of the product foreseen for the basic basket, social consumption, tourism and the free sale.
The Iguará grain drying and processing plant, the first of its kind to be installed in Cuba, has the capacity to dry 40 tons of beans in 24 hours.
Among the great impacts of the investment will be the attributes that will offer the beans, which will reach consumers with a quality that has not been seen before on the Island.
