Havana, Cuba_ The Second International Congress of Researchers on Youth marks the analysis of Fidel’s work with the youth, Prensa Latina reports.

Susel Morfa, second secretary of the Young Communist League (UJC) explained that the workshop “Fidel and policies for youths” will be at the epic moments of the meeting, as the event will deal with his actions, not only to guarantee educational and cultural development of children and youths, but also to consolidate their values and principles.

The youth leader added that the meeting to take place from March 29 to April 2 at the capital’s Convention Palace, will also be dedicated to Fidel’ 90th birthday. She also said the event will allow local delegates to share their experiences and contributions to the consolidation of the Revolution, the socialist system and present economic transformations that are being developed here.

This is the second occasion that the event takes place, in which youths of several countries speak on themes focused from the perspective of children and adolescents.

During the Congress, the delegates will participate through panels, posters and free tribunes and there will be three sessions of debate, conducted by experts on subjects such as Youth Policies in the 21st Century, Youth and social participation and Youths and the use of information and communication technologies.

These papers, stressed Morfa, will support the National Bureau of the UJC which will distribute them through the National Network of Research on Youth, with the objective of improving its work, identify the problems and debate the initiatives and proposals of youths.

The 2nd International Congress of Researchers on Youth is a part of the activities on occasion of the 54th anniversary of the UJC that is commemorated the 4th of April.
