Havana, Cuba_ The Young Communist League (UJC) celebrates the 54th anniversary of its creation and its first secretary, Yuniasky Crespo Baquero sent a congratulation message to all the membership.

Crespo Baquero called the new generation to focus in their studies and to accompany the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and the Revolution in the main productive and service activities.

“The best message we can send to the youth is to celebrate with optimism, because we have many reasons to do it, mainly when we are close to the VII Congress of the PCC, important moment for the country’s development”, she said.

The first secretary commented that the communication campaign Sumando Ideas, has three main moments: the first till the 90’s birthday of Fidel, the second to the celebrations for the triumph of the Revolution and the last one will conclude when the organization will be 55 years.

“Our main challenges are to be the vanguard of the Cuban youth and as a political organization to support the ideology of the new generations in the present context”, she noted.

The first secretary extends a congratulation message to the Cuban girls and boys, who are celebrating during this day, the 55 years of Jose Marti Pioneers Organization (OPJM).
