Havana, Cuba_ Specialists from the Traffic National Direction will carried out from tomorrow April 5th and till 28th of the present month, a new campaign of information-surveillance on the use of the security belt, aimed at reducing the number of accidents and victims, Radio Rebelde’s digital site reports.

According to experts from the National Revolutionary Police, the program intends to achieve the knowledge, comprehension and the practice of the advantages and rules that control the use of the belt.

The specialists said that the actions of this campaign include control operatives, and they also pointed out that the security on the streets and rods can also be secured if all the users know, accept and fulfill the duties established by the Road Security Code.

They also specified that the protection accessories save lives if they are used and placed correctly and they also reduce the mortality.

In Cuba, the use of the security was established in 2011 and those who ignore it are exposed to dying 10 more times than in an road accident.
