Havana_ The meeting of the Health Commission of the Latin American and Caribbean Parliament (Parlatino) will take place tomorrow, Thursday, June 14, at the Baraguá Hall of the National Capitol, the institutional seat of the National Assembly of People's Power of Cuba, Radio Habana Cuba publishes.
The presentation of Doctor in Science Rolando Pérez Rodríguez, Academician of Merit of the Academy of Sciences of Cuba (ACC) will open the debate on the Integration of Science, technology and innovation in Latin America and the Caribbean, with emphasis on biotechnological research in health, central theme of the appointment.
Cuban deputy Luis Velázquez, president of the Health Commission of Parlatino, will lead the meeting where dozens of legislators from the region will meet.
The participants will visit the ACC, know their role in the scientific integration of the country, and appreciate the heritage value of its headquarters and the Historic Center of Havana.
