Santiago de Cuba_ More than ten thousand inhabitants of Santiago de Cuba will attend the National Central Act for the Day of the National Rebellion on July 26, informed the member of the Provincial Bureau of the Communist Party in this province, Emilia Neuri Acuña Lemes.

According to Cubadebate, the celebration will take place in the former Moncada barracks, today "Ciudad Escolar 26 de Julio", at 5 and 12 minutes of the dawn.

The party leader detailed the main activities that will precede the commemoration, including the presentation on the 24th at the Plaza de la Revolución "Antonio Maceo" of the book El Altar de la Patria and the record Tesoro Immortal, the 65th Anniversary of the Moncada exhibition at Céspedes Park, as well as the launch of the exclusive Paticruzado and Anniversary 65 rums, made in a special way for the occasion.

"That same day will be held the Gala for the 65th Anniversary of the assault on the Moncada and Carlos Manuel de Céspedes barracks at Heredia Theater, in which important moments of the heroic action will be remembered before a large representation of guests from Santiago," she added.

To receive July 25th, when the 503 years of the foundation of Santiago de Cuba will be celebrated, 30 minutes before midnight, the entire population will be able to enjoy the show "Pasión por la Ciudad", in which thousands of fires will be fired from the pier in front of the bay and other points of the old eastern capital.

"The central act of the province for the Day of the National Rebellion will take place on the 25th, in the Second Front municipality, where several economic and social works will be inaugurated to improve the quality of life of the population with the presence of more than five thousand people from that territory.

Emilia Neuri also referred to the exhibition "Patria es Humanidad", which will be inaugurated on the 25th at the Art Gallery of Santiago de Cuba, where the 65th Anniversary Seal will be canceled, followed by the broadcasting of the Round Table program from the Plaza de la Revolución "Antonio Maceo", aimed at showing the effort of men and women consecrated to the purpose of achieving a more beautiful, orderly, hygienic and disciplined province to receive its summit date.
