Havana, Cuba_ Workers throughout the Island intensify from today on, the production plans and the preparations for the parades and marches in squares and municipalities next May 1st, Radio Reloj publishes.

To celebrate the date the workers carried out productive journeys to reduce the delays in the productions.

In Las Tunas, the fulfillment of the production plan of the first quarter of the year represents an achievement for the constructors, who dedicate it to salute the date in the territory.

Elisa Leyva Segura, secretary general of the provincial union, explained that after some years of limitations, the Construction Enterprise executed the planned in works of national interest, like the Eolic Park.

In the western province of Pinar del Rio, the members of the different unions began a program of cultural, recreational activities as well as actions to support the food production, to greet the International Workers Day.

The worker’s movement in that province strengthens their efforts, mainly in the agricultural system to rescue some crops and improve others.

Throughout the Island, the workers prepare flags, posters and banners for the parades and marches.

This way, the slogan of this celebration, will be present in each factory, office, department and walls of the work centers as a demonstration of the workers’ will to fulfill the productive duty and the participation in the parades.
