Holguín_ An intense day of celebration on the occasion of International Youth Day, will begin next Saturday in the community of Birán, with festivities carried out by the new generations, accompanied by popular dance music, in tribute to Fidel Castro, the website of Telecrystal publishes.

The head of the ideological department of the Provincial Committee of the Young Communists League explained that recreational and cultural activities have been conceived throughout the territory, although the fundamental ones will take place in the municipality of Cueto and, specifically, in the town of Birán, homeland of Fidel and Raúl.

Among the most picturesque is the "Macuzón" of Cueto, a popular festivity that enhances the culture of that locality; while in Birán, since the morning of Sunday, a giant cake will attract the attention of children, for whom recreational activities will be carried out in charge of children's projects and local talent.

More than 800 young people from all over the province will arrive this Thursday to the great camping that will take place in the surroundings of Sabanilla de Birán, in the traditional tents.

One of the attractions of this year is the juvenile exposition fair, an initiative that aims to highlight the culinary values ​​and traditions of each of the 14 municipalities of Holguín through the exhibition of typical dishes, which will be accompanied by a roasted pig and a caldosa prepared by each delegation.

A cultural gala and a concert of Moncada group will liven up the night of locals and campers, until seconds before 12:00 p.m., beginning of the day of the 92nd anniversary of Fidel's birthday.

As every year, the young people will pay homage to the historical leader of the Revolution, together with all the people, in a political-cultural act that becomes a tribune of reaffirmation of the continuity and support for the Cuban revolutionary process.
