Havana, Cuba_ Miguel Díaz - Canel Bermúdez., President of the Councils of State and Ministers, visited important social interest sites in the capital of the country this Monday, with a proper style of management distinguished by checking personally each center and exchange with its managers and workers, Radio Reloj publishes.

The day began with a visit to the Cultural Plaza of ARTEX, El Sauce, located in the municipality of Playa. There he toured different facilities of that cultural center, where he was interested in the recreational options offered, including a dance area and the Sala Formell, where small-format musical groups are presented.

Díaz-Canel continued his tour of an emblematic recreational and scientific institution of Havana, the National Aquarium. In a dialogue with its director, Maria de los Angeles Serrano, the Cuban president stressed the need to continue promoting options for families who are looking for a place to relax in that establishment, where gastronomic offerings are a complement.

Next, Díaz-Canel, accompanied by the highest authorities of the Party and the Government in the capital, visited the renovated Kasalta Restaurant, located in the Miramar district, where Quinta Avenida begins. There he also learned about the restoration of the adjacent supermarket of the same name, dedicated to the sale of liberated products and the family basket.

When appreciating the rehabilitation works of the premises, Díaz-Canel insisted on the importance of the sustainability of all the remodeled works.

Then, the president arrived at the Funeral Home of Calzada and K, a highly sensitive installation for the services it offers. There he visited some of the main restored rooms, including the cafeteria.

In one of the most central places of El Vedado in the capital, the corner of 21 and N, the president visited two restaurants completely repaired, Club 21 and El Caribeño. In both gastronomic facilities he was interested in the quality of the offers, the prices of the products and the working conditions of the workers.

In front of the emblematic Hotel Capri, Díaz-Canel corresponded with his greeting to several neighbors of the area, and agreed to take pictures with some tourists who waited to shake hands with the Cuban president.

One of the most emotional stops of the tour was in the children's circle Elpidio Valdés, located on Calle 19, between 8 and 10, also in El Vedado. There he spoke with the children and with the educators, toured the main halls and praised the recovery work that was done in that teaching institution.

At the end of the intense and fruitful day, Miguel Díaz-Canel Bermúdez visited the National Institute of Oncology and Radiobiology, where he verified the total recovery of the areas affected by the fire that occurred in that center on July 17.

In just twelve days, the damaged areas were rehabilitated due to the loss originated in the biological tower of the liquid waste plant.

The Cuban president visited the ward of the specialty of Mastology, the area of ​​ambulatory chemotherapy, the unit for work with radiation, and the place where is a very high-tech equipment, the first installed in the country, for accurate diagnosis of cancer in any location.

Diaz-Canel spoke with health professionals from the Institute, with workers and with patients.

In each site visited on Monday, the Cuban president called for the conservation and preservation of the restored works, with an eye, first, on the well-being of the people.
