According to information provided by the Institute of Meteorology, the central region of this system is located at 25.1 degrees North latitude and 80.7 degrees West longitude, about 30 kilometers west of Key Largo, in Florida and its central pressure is 1009 hectoPascal.

Gordon moves to the northwest west at a speed of 28 kilometers per hour and in the next 12 to 24 hours will continue with similar course and speed of translation, reaching the warm waters of the southeast of the Gulf of Mexico, where it can earn more intensity.

Due to the rapid movement of this system and its extension to the center, the most important element for Cuban territory is the evolution of the cloud and rainy areas that accompany this tropical storm, which will affect the western and central region of Cuba, and will be strong and intense in some places.
