Havana_ The 19th Scientific Convention on Engineering and Architecture (CCIA) will host delegates from 39 countries from the 26th to the 30th of this month with the aim of exchanging experiences on sustainable and sustainable development, organizers highlight, Prensa Latina reports.

The event, organized by the Technological University of Havana José Antonio Echeverría (Cujae), has confirmed representatives of Latin America, Europe, North America, Asia, Africa and Oceania.

According to the rector of the Cujae, Alicia Alonso Becerra, the CCIA is composed of 17 collateral events, among which are: the IX Cuban Congress of Mechanical and Metallurgical Engineering, the IV Cuban Congress of Natural Fibers and the IV International Congress of Civil Engineering in Cuba.
Also, she added, the agenda includes the International Conference on Technologies Applied to Smart Electric Networks, the X Symposium of Industrial Engineering and Allied, the X Symposium of Industrial and Related Engineering and the X Ibero-American University Symposium on Environment, among others.

Several of these meetings will deal with the topic of University-Business with the objective that the centers of higher studies play their role in solving the problems presented in the business sector, said the member of the organizing committee, Miguel Castro.

The Convention that will session at Havana’s Convention Center will have a space to recognize national and international specialists for their work in the development of research, with an associated exhibition fair.

The scientific program of the appointment will be carried out through lectures, round tables, discussion panels, workshops, oral and poster free themes.

Under the motto: “Engineering and Architecture for a Sustainable Future”, the conclave will be a favorable framework for establishing professional and academic contacts, the organizing committee of this 19th edition of the CCIA said in a statement.

As well as for the establishment of forms of international cooperation between institutions, entities, organizations and universities, to raise qualitatively the level of Higher Education, the note also adds.
