Havana, Cuba_ The participants in the National Seminar of Preparation of the next academic year dedicated the meeting to the leader of the Revolution, Fidel Castro, in his 90 birthday, for his contribution to the formation of the educational Cuban system, Radio Reloj publishes.

Ena Elsa Velázquez Cobiella, minister of Education, expressed the infinite trust in the educators to who she invited to get together in favor of that bastion of the Homeland that is the school, with its teachers, students, the family and the community.

"This forum will put our cadres in better conditions for the organization and projection of the coming educational stage, she specified.

The minister underlined that the current educational work will be more complex especially the politic and ideological task and expressed that the weapons for this battle are in the culture, the will of study and the preparation.

Analysis of the present school year

When evaluating the execution of the prioritized objectives of the present academic year, Cira Piñeiro Alonso, deputy minister of Education, affirmed that the stability of the school organization is achieved.

She also explained the advances in the quality of the classes, the vocational formation and the professional orientation.
