Havana, Cuba_ The Adonia cruise, owned by Carnival Corporation, first American ship of its kind that anchors in the Island in almost 60 years between the two countries arrived today in the capital’s Sierra Maestra Cruise Terminal, Radio Rebelde’s digital site publishes.
Fathom’s ship departed shortly after 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, from Miami, Florida, with about 700 passengers on board, to Havana.
Several hundreds of Americans are traveling in the Adonia, but although this is a ship usually used with touristic aims, they may not carry out leisure activities or even bathing on a beach in Cuba, due to the restrictions imposed by the blockade laws to the island.
