Havana, Cuba_ Cuban Foreign Minister Bruno Rodríguez begins today an official visit to Germany, in which he will hold official talks with his German counterpart, Frank-Walter Steinmeier, according to a note released by Radio Reloj.

In addition to the meeting with his German counterpart, the Cuban minister will develop a varied work program that includes meetings with local authorities, the note points out.

Germany is Europe's leading source of tourists to Havana and the second globally only surpassed in 2015 by Canada.

Cuban exports to Berlin in that period totaled 32.6 million euros (35 million dollars), essentially products such as honey, cigars, rum and juices.
