Havana, Cuba_ Representatives of the Cuban Neurosciences Center and the Biocubafarma group assessed today in Moscow joint projects in pursuit of improvements in the quality of life of patients with disorders of the central nervous system, Radio Reloj publishes.

 Dr. Luis Herrera expressed confidence in the fact that close interaction between both countries in this field will contribute in the medium to long-term to improve the quality of life of patients suffering from these disorders, which will represent a great social benefit.

According to Herrera, Cuban scientists are establishing procedures for assessing the risk levels among the population to facilitate preventive and therapeutic measures.

Researchers of the island also develop novel and very promising medications for treating these disorders, including Alzheimer's disease.
