Havana: Cuba is participating in the VII 7th Latin American Telecommunications Congress (CLT), which takes place in Argentina until the next day 5, publica la Agencia Cubana de Noticias.

The Cuban representation is chaired by the Deputy Minister of Communications, Ana Julia Marine Lopez, according to the information provided by the digital site of that Ministry.

The forum, the most important annual event for the discussion of public policies associated with information and communication technologies in Latin America, convenes ministers, regulatory authorities and telecommunications executives from all over the continent, and allows sharing experiences and promoting the debate between public and private sector leaders to encourage policies that accelerate the closing of the gap and the digital transformation of the Latin American continent.

Rethinking key variables such as the management and availability of essential resources such as the radioelectric spectrum and the design and use of universalization funds will be precisely the driving force of the discussions that will delineate the path towards the digitalization of Latin America.

The Congress is jointly organized by the International Telecommunications Union, the Development Bank of Latin America and the Inter-American Association of Telecommunications Companies.
