Havana, Cuba_ The governor of Missouri, Jeremiah Wilson Nixon, gave Cuba a donation of 20 tons of rice grown and processed in that North American state as an expression of the interest of its farmers to trade with the Island, the digital site of Radio Reloj publishes.
The governor stressed the importance of resuming trade relations with Cuba, from a territory that can offer a wide range of agribusiness articles at competitive prices.
Maria de la Luz Be'Hamel, official from the Ministry of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, acknowledged the willingness of American companies with business opportunities.
Be'Hamel recalled that the blockade policy against Cuba, slows the normalization of relations, besides the use of the dollar in Cuban transactions it still not implemented.
