Nuevitas: After the recent breakdowns occurred since Monday, in three of the units existing in the Thermoelectric 10 de Octubre in the municipality of Nuevitas, these generation blocks are already in operation and synchronized to the National Electric Power System with a contribution of 295 megawatt-hours (MW / h), in a stable manner, the digital site of Radio Angulo publishes.

According to the director of the aforementioned entity, Dioelvis Sollet, although the plant is still below its total capacity of 360 MW / h, since the afternoon of this Tuesday units 4, 5 and 6 began to go online, the latter with all its power of 120 MW / h.

In the case of unit five, work is carried out on a seawater pipeline that, once restored, will allow it to increase from 85 MW / h to 113 today, while unit four currently contributes 90 MW / h, the executive said.

Sollet pointed out that although maintenance brigades regularly work in the different work shifts in the plant, to gain immediacy in the solutions of the breakdowns, more than 100 workers and technicians intervened in the rehabilitation of the generation blocks.

It was done with great intensity, he said, so that once the affectations were resolved, the specialists would certify the quality of the service.
